Assistant Professor of Classics, Evelyn Adkins, was featured on The Mirror of Antiquity podcast, where she answered the question, “what excites you about the study of Classical antiquity?” She discusses how it helps us connect with people from the past–both in understanding how people are similar, but also how they are very different. She further explains these similarities and differences through the lens of her research on gender and sexual identities.
