Applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree, with a strong academic record (a recommended GPA of 3.5 or greater) and at least one year of college-level Greek or Latin study. Students must be highly motivated and have a strong reason for mastering ancient languages as well as a realistic appreciation of the work entailed.

GRE scores are considered but not required.
Submit application materials online through CWRU Graduate Studies Department. Applicants must apply via the the “Non-Degree” application and then choose “Certificate in Classics” for applicant type. Applications for Fall 2016 must be submitted by April 15, 2016 for consideration.
