Three Classics majors presented their senior capstone projects on Monday, December 9: Cason Willman discussed the Greco-Roman aspects of the cult of Mithras, Jess Stompor applied theories of cognitive dissonance to ancient experiences of the cult of Asklepios, and Silvana Cantelmi discussed transformation and continuity in the cult of the goddess Isis through her movement from Egypt to Rome. The projects were advised this year by Dr. Maddalena Rumor as part of the department’s new capstones course.
